THE PERFECTIONIST

Who in this world can be ascribed as perfect except the absolute that is hiding behind? Who keeps playing the game of 'hide and seek' in everybody's life? Who does not taste defeat, disease, disappointment and insecurity in this world? At times everything seems immaterial. Objects that used to attract with intense force become cause of tension. Every time the search begins to enrich the life with some newly discovered source of joy. Every search ends in a temporary jubilation. Over a period of time the intensity of jubilation fades away. One feels empty, dissatisfied and even deceived. One plays sundry of games, sundry of roles, some by choice, and some under pressure. Yet one finds no panacea to fulfil one's inner world when one looks around and analyses.

Lord Srikrishn also performed several roles on earth. He only occasionally showed his divine form to deserving devotees. For others he was an ordinary but enigmatic person whom people failed to understand. Some adored him. Some denigrated him. Some dreaded him. Some considered him a wizard. Even though Lord Srikrishn was maligned and adored both in his lifetime, he was able to satisfy others in various relationships. He knew how to win others. The tussle crippling an ordinary person is the chasm between one's expectation and achievement. Lord Srikrishn had no such inner turbulence. He showed no fear, no hesitation in fulfilling others' expectation if he found one worthy of it.
