Save me from wife cried Lord Lord Shiv

Lord Srikrishn created all deities and Goddesses and offered them spouses. All were pleased to receive the counter parts. After all who could dare question the authority and competence of Lord of Universe? Then came the turn of Lord of yogis, - Lord Shiv. Lord Srikrishn honoured him greatly and said with affection-“Lord! Accept this Goddess riding the lion.”
On seeing a glowing female riding a ferocious tiger and holding myriads of weapons in her eight arms fearlessly, Lord Shiv felt a bit scared. However being a male, he concealed his  fear and  showed up a pretended laughter for a while. He then looked to his Lord Krishn and most humbly submitted, -“Lord! Like an ordinary man I too feel unable to accept this Goddess as my wife at this moment. Because wife is an obstruction in the path of devotion to God; opponent of path of service; like a veil to cloud wisdom; like a lock on the entrance to Yog; destroyer of desire to attain liberation and is one who kindles the flame of desire. She is the usurper of tapasya, bundle of attachment, a strong shackle to imprison man, mother of insanity, destroyer of sagacity and a pusher into the quagmire of lust. I therefore do not wish for her. Please give me what I long for. I wish to remain your unflinching devotee.” In a bid to get spared from the decree of Lord Srikrishn, Lord Shiv tried to please him in various ways justifying his stand to remain celibate.
Master of all Lord Srikrishn however, laughed meaningfully and further said, -“O the best of enlightened masters! Serve me for hundred of Kalpas. You are the best among yogis and Siddhas. Attain wisdom and power like me for you are my favourite. After hundred  Kalpas you will attain Lord Shiva as your wife. Obey me. I am not prepared to accept your prayer. You will realize it on marrying her. You are not just a hermit but also a Lord equal to me. One who is self-willed, turns householder and yogi at appropriate time. The sufferings, you are counting in the life of a householder are for those who marry unworthy woman. Chaste wives tender the husband as a son. A woman, who adores her husband more than us, finds place in my Golok after death. So accept Lord Shiva as your chaste wife.”
Turning to Goddess Durga, he said, -“Fairone! Remain with me in Golok. At the right time, you will appear from the aura of all deities and will be worshipped by them. In the Satyayug of another Kalp you will take birth as daughter of Daksh and will be the wife of Lord Shiv. Later on infuriated by the insult of your husband you will immolate your body in a Yajna organized by king Daksh and take rebirth as daughter of king of mountains,-Himalaya. After marrying Lord  Shiv again, you will attain absolute oneness with your husband and will be worshipped by people.
During autumn you will be worshipped in all lokas every year. In Bharata, you will be worshipped by various means in various names. Lord Shiv will compose various tantras in your praise to enlighten the human beings. Mother! Whoever will worship and propitiate you, will attain prosperity, power and siddhis.”
Saying so Lord Srikrishn prescribed mantras beginning with ‘kleem’ for her, which is also the mantra for Lord Srikrishn. Thus Lord Srikrishn rendered similar spiritual power on Goddess Durga. She is therefore, called Goddess Narayani.

Lord Lord Shiv  asked to create Tantra shastra

tantra photo: Tantra tantra.jpgLord Shiv is the exemplary guru of yogis who receives all wisdom and command from Lord Srikrishn and was profoundly worshipped by Lord Srikrishn when he took birth on earth. Once on the occasion of kartik puurnima Lord Srikrishn worshipped his consort Radha in various ways and rejoiced with her and other Gopis in his celestial Raasmandal. All deities and Goddesses gathered in Golok to celebrate the occasion. Radha and Lord Srikrishn were seated upon the atrium in the centre. All offered their oblations to them. Goddess Parvati and Goddess Saraswati flanked Lord Shiv. Bemused Goddess Saraswati strummed her veena and began to sing hymns in praise of Radha-Madhav.  The spell of her melodious music overpowered all. Pleased Gods and Goddesses offered precious gifts to Goddess Saraswati to appreciate her riveting recital. Aroused by her overflowing rendition, Lord Shiv also joined her in singing. He is Nataraj, - ‘the king of dance styles’ and progenitor of classical music. His dance style,-‘tandava’ when paired with the dance of mother Parvati,-‘lasya’ froms-Taal’ that is rhythm, the base of musical compositions.                                                                                               Swayed by the gripping grave voice of Lord Shiv, coupled with equally enthralling recital of Goddess Saraswati, the celestial audience got hypnotized. As the Shabd-Brahm and Naad-Brahm sucked up the consciousness of celestial listeners, all as if got lost into the realm of resounding melody. The entranced listeners got back to themselves only when the recital came to a lingering end.
As they raised their heads and looked around, they found no trace of their patrons, Radha-Madhav. Instead, limpid water bemused with the lore of divine love, flowed around them. Seeing the rhythmic flow of waves of water, all were taken aback. Unable to follow the veiled message of hosts, they felt dumbfounded. Only when wise Lord Brahma meditated, could he decipher the intent behind the disappearance of Radha Madhav and their taking to the form of surging, insinuating water. All were yet confused, unable to follow the incoherent expression of divine parents. Lord Brahma and others then heartily prayed to Divine Parents to reappear. Radha-Madhav however, did not relent as if lost into an unknown realm of ntessential bliss. As the moments lingered like eons in hope of a divine response, a voice echoed, -"O deities! My consort and I are always one and the same.... everywhere. What will you do with our vision? Tell Lord Shiv to compose the enchanting Shastra of Tantra to establish oneness of Prakriti and Purusha. When he does so, we will..... reappear."
A beatific smile sported at the lips of Lord Shiv on following the message of his sporty, astute Lord Srikrishn. He cupped his right palm with the celestial water of Ganga flowing around and sweared to tell all, -"I pledge to compose Tantra Shastra as desired by Lord Srikrishn."
He therefore, composed the Tantra Shastra, which highlights the greatness of Shakti and necessity of perfect blend of twin energies, - male and female.
Lord Srikrishn thus communicated that male and female are essentially one as waves of water are one. Purush in Sanskrit means one who sleeps in a faculty. For 'pur' implies a faculty and 'sha' refers to one ‘who is asleep’. Purush is the soul that is present in every body. Prakriti implies nature made of three gunas named Sat, Raja and Tama that can also be compared to neutron, electron and proton, the basic particles constituting matter. Prakriti manifests herself in creation. Purush and Prakriti thus symbolize male and female principles universally prevalent in nature. The message of Tantra Shastra is complementary nature of male and female.
The Ultimate Reality is Chit or consciousness that is one with Sat or Being and Anand or bliss. Thus Ultimate reality Satchidanand implies Existence-Knowledge-Bliss, which is akin to the Reality preached in the Vedas. Actually behind all human endeavours, the single motivating force is longing for bliss and satiation alone. Tantra, therefore allows one to enjoy sense pleasures through performing rites to spiritualize craving for sense pleasures. Thus carnal longing is gradually transformed into divine consciousness. The bonds are turned into releasers. The world is considered as mere sport of Lord Shiv-Shakti. Shakti, is the creative force and Lord Shiv is the absolute and nearly passive principle.
Lord Srikrishn himself asserts about his oneness with Radha.  Shakti the divine Mother contains in her womb the Universe. All women are her symbol. In nature one finds that merger of male and female gametes are the key to proliferation. As a seed merges into the earth to develop into a plant capable of giving breath of life to others; sperm also merges into ovum to develop into a full-fledged living being. Thus nature gives a message that male has to surrender before 'Shakti' (the female) to attain efflorescence in life and spiritual realm.

Lord Srikrishn spread this message through out. He himself worshipped all the Goddesses as mothers in Golok and thus initiated the worship of female deities. He practiced profound respect towards women in all relationships during his lifetime on earth. His supreme status never came in the way of worshipping females.
