CHAMPION FEMINIST

A

“One who utters my name before you goes to hell, for you are my power and desire. We are one and the same everywhere. Neither of us is superior or inferior.’ Lord Srikrishn says to his consort Radha in Brahmvaivart Puran. It is indeed strange and ironical that while the supreme god of India openly and honestly accepts his incompleteness without his consort and worships her as mother of universe, the popular religious leaders preferred to remain tight lipped about their relationship with their consort. Ramkrishn Paramhans was the only popular spiritual master who worshipped his consort as incarnation of divine mother. The masses of India are inflicted with mother syndrome since eons. They revere mothers, but look down upon their spouse as their inferior and mere subject. How and why people of India who worship Lord Srikrishn did not take a cue from his life in conducting themselves in life, is indeed ironical. Rejecting womanhood and treating motherhood superior to womanhood is a grave error on the part of men. Men deluded by ego and being spiritually bankrupt, go on treading a path which leads to further bondages and suffering.
Marry for perfection, counsels LORD SRIKRISHN

The two hills at Badrinath in Uttaranchal state of India stand witness to the lofty penance performed by Narayan and Nar in the good olden days. Narayan took birth as Lord Srikrishn and Nar as Arjun.

Narad was a profound devotee of Lord Srikrishn and never wished to enter into wedlock. He was however, dissatisfied within and reached to meet sage Narayan at Badrinath. He sat in his feet and pour his heart out,-“Omniscient Lord! I have acquired knowledge of Vedas from father Lord Brahma and spiritual wisdom from Lord Shiv yet my mind is not at peace. I long to acquire wisdom, which dispels the sorrow of old age and death. Please tell me who is the ultimate cause of the Deities and entire creation? Tell me please the tale of Lord Srikrishn filled with beauty and attributes of Lord of lords.” Rishi Narayan laughed and said, -“Everyone should worship Lord Srikrishn whose lotus feet are worshipped even by Ganesh, Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiv, Saraswati, Parvati and Lakshmi. This world is like an ocean; one who desires to get across this ocean should take shelter in the feet of Lord Srikrishn alone. You and I are his mere reflections. Lord Lord Srikrishn creates the universe in association with his consort, -Nature. All females are reflections of nature. Nature deludes and binds all.  Lord Srikrishn is powerful only because of nature. Even he is unable to create anything without her. Son! Obey your father and enter into wedlock. Because a man who honours his wife with ornaments, dresses and auspices receives the blessings of Mother Nature. All women are reflections of Mother Nature. One who insults or ill-treats a woman inevitably receives the curse of Mother Nature. Mother Nature is as powerful as Lord Srikrishn. The Goddess who rules over the life of Lord Srikrishn is Radha. When the Supreme Being desires to create the universe, it manifests itself into two forms.

The right form manifests as man and the left one as female. As the power to burn is inseparable from fire, so are male and female, inseparable from each other. That is why yogis do not discriminate between man and woman. For, both are reflections of the same divine light.’’ The enlightening gospel of sage Narayan appeased the restless mind of Narad and he entered into wedlock.
