Lovers meditate

Lord Srikrishn met the gopis again after a very long gap in Kurukshetra on the occasion of solar eclipse. The entire population of India had gathered there to take a holy dip. Gopis gloated at Lord Srikrishn unwinkingly. They could not express their anguish born of separation from him. They placed Lord Srikrishn in their hearts and entered a trance.  Lord Srikrishn, aware of their intense love lingering for decades, unaltered by the changing time, found an opportunity to meet them in solitude. He embraced them and asked about them, exchanged pleasantries. Blooming before them, he promptly said, -"Friends! We moved out to perform several tasks expected of us by our relations and got involved with destroying our enemies, leaving the beloveds like you behind. Long time has passed bye. Do you ever think of me? My dear friends! Please be assured that you are not swayed by the thought that I am ungrateful and believing so, are you thus, displeased with me? No doubt god is behind meeting and parting both. As wind brings straws together and scatters them after a while so is god instrumental in uniting and separating friends. It is great that you have experienced my love, which ushers one ultimately to me. The love and devotion offered to me liberates human beings. Dear friends! In all objects of this world five basic elements-earth, water, air, fire and sky are present in the beginning, middle and end. Similarly in all objects, in their origin, presence and end, it is I who live immanently. In all bodies of all creatures, these five basic elements are the cause and constituents. But I am away from these, the Eternal Truth. Both five elements and soul of jives appear within me. You should realize this so." Lord Srikrishn thus imparted them spiritual wisdom.

Gopis conquered all barriers of self-realization and attained oneness with god. They said, -'O Bearer of Lotus in navel! The greatest of yogis meditate upon your feet. Your feet alone can save the people engaged in mundane drudgery. God! Bless us that even while performing household chores, your lotus feet may remain placed in our heart and may we never forget them". Thus, sharing enlightened moments with his beloved womenfolk, Lord Srikrishna took leave of them, turning their heart into his eternal abode filled with bliss, peace and divine illumination.
